Railway era terraces
Built fast and in volume in the nineteenth century, solid wall, small rooms and shallow yards. Straightforward jobs once the outdoor unit position is settled, which is usually the only real question.

Crewe and Cheshire East
A railway town surrounded by Cheshire countryside, which makes for two very different jobs a few miles apart: dense railway era terraces in Crewe itself, and period village property at Nantwich and Sandbach.
CoolIn installs, services and repairs air conditioning throughout Crewe and the wider Cheshire East area, covering CW1 and CW2, including Nantwich, Sandbach and Alsager. We are about 50 minutes away, which is close enough to attend a breakdown in the same week rather than the same month.
Local knowledge
Crewe is also a distribution hub, so a good share of the commercial work is warehouse offices and transport depots rather than high street retail.
Built fast and in volume in the nineteenth century, solid wall, small rooms and shallow yards. Straightforward jobs once the outdoor unit position is settled, which is usually the only real question.
Timber framed and Georgian property, conservation areas and a scattering of listed buildings. Planning is the first conversation, not the last.
Offices and control rooms inside large sheds, where the office is often an afterthought thermally and runs ten degrees above the rest of the building.
Low ceilings, thick walls and kitchens in spaces never designed for them. Extract and make up air have to be designed as a pair.
What we do in Crewe
Wall units, multi splits and ducted systems for houses and flats, from £1,850 fitted with no VAT to add.
Offices, shops, kitchens, gyms and server rooms, designed around your heat load and fitted around your trading hours.
Plans from £89 per unit a year, keeping the manufacturer warranty valid and the running costs down.
All makes and models, £95 for the first hour, with the common parts carried on the van.
Air to air heat pumps giving around 4.5kWh of heat per kWh of electricity, heating and cooling from one unit.
Heat recovery, kitchen extract and make up air, and filtration where cooling alone will not fix the problem.
Nearby
Each town has its own page, because the housing stock and the planning rules genuinely differ. The full coverage area lists everywhere else we work.
Local questions
Yes, they are inside our normal working area, roughly fifty minutes from base. The survey is free and there is no travel charge anywhere inside the area we cover. What we will not do is take on an address so far out that we cannot service it properly afterwards, because a system nobody comes back to is worth less than no system.
Not a problem, but it needs care and it is not a job to rush. Drilling through a historic timber frame is avoided wherever there is an alternative route, fixings go into the right places, and in most cases these buildings are listed or in a conservation area, which limits where the outdoor unit can sit. All of that is settled at survey before any equipment is ordered.
